About Himansa
Himansa Perera is currently completing a Master of Secondary Teaching at La Trobe University's Bendigo campus, building on a strong academic and professional foundation in accounting. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business, and is currently working towards the ACCA Advanced Diploma — giving him a genuine depth of subject knowledge for VCE Accounting that goes well beyond the textbook.
Himansa's teaching experience includes working as an Assistant Tutor for English Language (Cambridge O/L), where he prepared lesson materials, supported students individually, and tracked their progress with regular feedback. He combines that hands-on teaching experience with real workplace accounting experience, having worked as an Accounts Assistant preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting audits — practical experience that brings VCE Accounting concepts to life for students.
Patient, organised, and adaptable, Himansa tailors each session to how the student actually learns best, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
